‘Lé Quartaette’
‘Lé Quartaette’ is a string quartet based on the beautiful island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The quartet comprises of highly trained musicians offering music for all types of events, such as weddings, corporate functions, parties and funerals. With a broad spectrum of repertoire, from classical to pop, Lé Quartaette perform music to suit all tastes and can tailor a perfect selection for your special event.

‘Lé Quartaette’ was founded by Sarah van Vlymen in 2012 who has a wide experience of performing with numerous string ensembles. Born in Guernsey, she pursued her musical path as a specialist violinist to Wells Cathedral School continuing on to obtain a Performance Arts degree at Dartington College of Arts.

Keeping a local flavour to the quartet, the name ‘Lé Quartaette’ is taken from the Guernsey French Patois; 'Guernésiais', and is a simple translation for 'String Quartet'.
